Awesomest Dork Wedding Ever

Mon Calamari wanna Leia sounds like a bad Hawaiian fish joke, but it’s actually a bad Star Wars wedding joke in this case. Man, I wish I was invited to go.  I wonder if he took of the mask for the wedding night fun time.
Thanks Neatorama.

25 Hot Comic Con Girls

PhotobucketThere’s this silly stereotype that girls at Comic Con are fat, pimply, wear glasses and are otherwise just icky. That image is not only sexist and stupid, but grossly inaccurate. In fact, there are some amazingly HOT girls there. I didn’t even picture a third of the good looking girls I saw there and I still got some pictures of great looking girls that definitely defy the stupid preconceived notion of the ugly geek girl being the only female at Comic Con.

Of course, that’s not to say there weren’t total l00zers at the Con, don’t you worry, those pics are coming soon, as are some great interviews and some pics of the merch, etc. But for now, satisfy your sweet tooth with these little bits of sugar. (Again, click for larger images.)

I love Haminal, he's part guinnea pig, part hamster, part pig, boneless and he fits in a can just right.

Casting for the Creepy Perv Next Door

Are you short, hairy and stinky? Guess what? Adult Swim is looking for you. Cartoon Network’s Aqua Teen Hunger Force is now casting Carl look-alikes to star in their first ever live action show. The search begins at the San Diego Comic Con on Saturday, July 26 between 3-6 P.M. at the Omni Hotel. From the press release:

Aqua Teen Hunger Force, one of Adult Swim’s most popular animated action-adventure, comedy-dramas, follows the strange everyday lives of three human-sized food products who live in New Jersey. Their next-door neighbor is Carl, a simple man who’s endearingly sweaty, hairy, lewd, fashion-challenged, horny, nasty and oftentimes annoying. All men remotely fitting that description are encouraged to show up. It would also help to be bald, have a mustache and wear a dirty white tank top, sweat pants and flip-flops.

Of course, I will be at the convention covering all the goodness and will see if I can get some footage of the best wannabe Carls. If you do look like this, I highly advise you to apply as it may be your only chance to ever get laid. Ever.

Comic Con Interviews With Adult Swim & G4 Cartoonist

Hi all,

I wanted to let you know that at Comic Con I have interviews with the creators of the new Strong Bad videogame (I’ll also be demo-ing it).

I also will be interviewing Adam De La Pena, the creator and writer of Code Monkeys and Minoriteam.

If you have anything you’d like me to ask these people, let me know so I can add the questions to my notes. Thanks!

UPDATE: The interview with Adam of Code Monkeys is not going to happen at this Comic Con. Sorry to disappoint.
