From the Metroid to the Tick to the Giggling Yoda, these great cocktails all sound absolutely delicious and delightfully nerdalicious.
Over at BuzzFeed, there are 20 drinks inspired by Harry Potter for your fandom pleasure. Personally, I think the Gryffindor sounds pretty tasty:

1 part cranberry juice
1 part orange juice
1 Maraschino cherry
1 twist (of peel) orange
If you’re ready to get your drink on, be sure to check out my guide to making your own delicious watermelon, strawberry or mango margaritas over on The Cheapskate’s Handbook.

Turning Jell-O Shots Into An Artform
Most Jell-O shots look generic and taste like rubbing alcohol. I thought I did quite well when I made delicious raspberry watermelon Midori Jell-O in a brain mold from Neatorama, but I’ve got nothing on these artistic beauties seen on My Jello Americans. The one above, titled Let Sleeping Gnomes Lie, includes graham crackers, green food dye, chocolate mushrooms, vodka and Mexican drink mix amongst other ingredients. The result is a Jell-O shot that’s almost a shame to eat…almost.
Wait till you wash it down with Eel energy drinks. One word comes to mind…eww.
